2.59a4

Prerequisites

Conquest database version 2.59 requires the SQL Server Spatial Data component available from SQL Server 2008 R2 onwards. Customers still on SQL Server 2005 will need to upgrade to be able to use Conquest II.

When upgrading from Conquest II Version 2.58b2 or earlier, the ‘Administrator Installation’ option must be ticked to provide additional, post-installation files:

      Scripts for upgrading the database

The Report Patch to be applied to rebuild the Conquest Reports. For more details see Upgrading Reports

For details on installing Conquest II, see the Conquest Installation Guide.

Changes

Performance and Stability Enhancements:

Added the ability to set the Transaction Date, when changing the Function of a Valuation Asset:

      With the Asset Form

In the Import Manager by including the LastTranDate in an update of Asset Function

Fixed a bug that prevented the F3 function key from opening a User Lookup for an Action UserText field, if it had been assigned

Fixed an error that occurred when changing the Year Created and choosing the option to also change the Expiry Date.  This was only an issue for Valuation Assets

Fixed an SQL error that occurred, when deleting a Location from the Location editor

Fixed a problem that caused Conquest II to fail to load the Reports and User Interface libraries because the Windows Configuration used an unexpected location for User Application Files

Fixed an error, when a User Field in use with more than one Action Category stopped that User Field being used in more than one User Program

Note: Some customers have experienced a database configuration problem, after upgrading, which causes ‘Refresh System Objects’ to fail. The solution is to use SQL Server Management Studio and drill into the Conquest database to the Stored Procedures, then locate and execute p_ResetNulls. When it has finished, run Refresh System Objects again, which should now run to completion.
