If using pass-through authentication, the Image Proxy needs to be set up to allow anonymous authentication, allowing users to access the generated URL without granting them permissions to the network storage folder. To set up the image proxy:
Step 1. Create or choose an Active Directory user account to
impersonate the anonymous user.
Note: it does not need to be a service
account
Step 2. Grant Read permissions to this account on the Document Directory folder defined on System Options
Step 3. Open IIS Manager
Step 4. Select the ImageProxy folder on the Conquest website in IIS
Step 5. Open the Authentication feature
Step 6. Enable and edit providers on the Anonymous Authentication method
Step 7. Enter the credentials for the account defined on Step 1
Note:
If Conquest 3 is configured to run with a Service Account, no setup is needed.
