For an Asset that you want to create a Defect on:
•Click on the Asset Map Feature
•Click on the New Inspection button in the toolbar, to open the Defect / Action Forms
•Click in the empty Defect field, to see a list of pre-configured Standard Defects for the type of Asset being inspected
•Click one to select it
•The Field Labels defined in the selected Standard Defect are shown in the Attribute Column, ready for you to enter details or select values into the Value Column fields
•If you have files (media) that you want to attach to the Defect:
•Click the Documents link (blue-underlined)
•Select the file(s) to be linked
•Click OK
•Click the Map Defect button (Pin icon)
•If the Conquest Mobile Option in Conquest is ticked:
•You must create a Defect Map Feature before you can save the Inspection:
•Click on the position of the Defect within the selected Asset Map Feature
•Do more clicks if it is a Line or a Region
•Click Save
•To link Request(s) to an Inspection see
Note: When you Upload the Inspection Program, for the Defect Map Feature that you just created, to be added to your master Defects Layer, that layer must be the one set on the Conquest Standard Defect for your Inspection Defect
