There are two types of User Fields that can be used to further identify Assets, namely the System User Fields and the Asset Type User Fields.
The System User Fields are configured in the System Options and are applicable to all Assets, while the Asset Type User Fields are configured in an Attribute Set and only applies to Assets of this Asset Type.
There are 8 Text, 2 Number, 2 Date, 2 Check, 4 List and 2 User Hierarchy fields that can be defined in the System Options.
There are 30 Text, Number, Date, Check, List, 8 Dimension and 8 Environment List fields that can be defined within an Attribute Set. The User List fields are configured in the Code Editor under User Lists and a default list for the Environmental List fields are provided under the System List section titled Environment Attribute Codes. As usual, this list can be modified. The Asset form only displays those fields that have been defined.
One of the dimension fields can be chosen to be the Valuation Dimension defined in the Asset Type (for example Length). This directs Conquest to use the value in this field, when calculating the replacement cost for this Asset.
