To add a new Asset to the Asset Hierarchy, follow these simple steps:
Step 1. In the Asset Explorer select the parent of the new Asset. (Refer to the Navigation section on the Asset Explorer for information on navigating the Asset hierarchy)
Step 2. From the Insert Menu select “Insert Asset”. Conquest will then ask if it is a Proposed or Existing Asset. (Refer to Managing the Financial Aspects of your Assets for more information on Proposed Assets)
Step 3. Fill in the Asset information in the different sections as required. An Asset must be given a description and should be given an Asset Type. For details refer to the reference sections for; Assets, Asset Types and the How To section on adding an Asset Type
