Standard Defects allow for the consistent definition of Defects and simplifies their collection in the field. They also allow the definition of standard response times for Defects which are based on the Standard Defect. Standard Defects are created in the Knowledge Base by selecting the appropriate Asset Type and then use the New > Standard Defect Task.

The Standard Defect Form allows:

•      Selection of an Attribute Set, which defines User Fields for Defects based on the Standard Defect

•      Selection of a Standard Action, which will be created for Defects based on the Standard Defect

•      Icons to be used for both completed and uncompleted Defects based on the Standard Defect

•      The definition of Response Times for Defects based on the Standard Defect
