Standard Defect Form - Response Times Tab

Response Times set the due date for work to remedy a Defect.

When a Standard Defect is first created the Response Time grid shows only the first column, Asset Priority, as configured in the Hierarchy Editor and selected in the System Options, with the Asset User Hierarchy 1, Asset Priority.

If nothing is displayed on the Response Times tab, then the priority hierarchy and option settings are yet to be configured.

The Response Times grid allows any number of different Severity Levels to be defined, e.g. “> 10mm” and “< 10mm”, each of which can be assigned Response Times for each Priority.

For Response Times to be activated, Assets for which Defects are created from the Standard Defect, must have a Priority set.

To create a new Severity, Edit the Standard Defect and use the New > Severity Task. Then set the Description and Response times:
