The parts of CMTPC are:
•CMTPC Runtime
•Provides essential data storage and mapping components on the CMTPC client devices. It does not need to be reinstalled, when you are performing upgrade installs of CMTPC.
•CMTPC
•Provides the CMTPC program, libraries and a Management User in a local SQL Server database, on the client devices. New releases of CMTPC may require an upgrade to any CMTPC databases on the client devices, in the process erasing any data that is in them, so it is imperative to have done all CMTPC Uploads from the version about to be upgraded, before proceeding.
•The installer is provided as a Microsoft MSI file to be used from an administrative account.
•CMTPC Web Service
•Provides functionality to receive data from CMTPC client Uploads and process it into the Conquest database.
•For CMTPC version 3.0 to 3.0325, CMTPC uses a Conquest Mobile Web Service installed with a Windows Installer package, downloaded from the Conquest Web Site, Downloads page. See the CMTPC Web Service Installation Guide for details.
•For CMTPC version 4.0020 onwards, the Web Service is provided by way of the Management Console.
