• Right-click on an Asset in the Asset Explorer and, from the Drop-down list, select the Move Asset Task
or

or
• From any List of Assets, select one or more Assets, then select the Move Asset(s) Task for the list
Step 2. Navigate to and select an Asset to be the new parent of the Asset(s) being moved; it cannot be the current parent
Step 3. If necessary, use the search bar to enter part of an Asset Description or the AssetID, if you know it
Step 4. Click OK
Things to be aware of:
You cannot move a Valued Asset to a branch of the Asset Hierarchy that already has a Valued Asset.
Moved Assets are given new Family Codes at the “end” of the current set of Family Codes below the Asset being “Moved to”. When the last Family Code’s last three digits reach 999, Conquest will check for and use “gaps” within the Family Codes of the entire set of child Assets but, if there are not enough available, the Move is cancelled. See How To Manage Assets for details.
In the Conquest Asset Hierarchy, each Asset is considered to be a Child of the Asset immediately on the Root side of it (above it) and can have Child Assets of its own (below it).
