Conquest 3 uses an Image Proxy to render images directly to the application, instead of redirecting the user to their original storage location. Such functionality is essential for secure access of resources over the internet. See Conquest 3 on the Internet.

This enables users to have access to images without exposing network shared folders to end users, enhancing the overall security of the system. In addtion to that, the image proxy also allows the creation of links for anonymous temporary access, which expire after a period defined on the Conquest Management Console.
