Documents that contain or depict information about an asset are recorded here. Any type of file can be recorded but to view it, there needs to be a program that runs on Windows. On the left are documents directly related to the Asset, on the right are documents related to its Asset Type.

Assets can have a Default Storage Location defined in order to simplify and better organise the attached files. Such feature works in a hierarchical way, where documents related to assets without this setting will be stored on the location found upwards the asset hierarchy. This allows the storage of documents of children assets to be centralised on their parent asset, for instance. If no Default Location is set, then the related documents are stored in the root folder, defined in Document Storage Options.
