The Action Priority Report is used to help Prioritise Assets for maintenance or replacement. It is based on:
• Asset information; i.e. an Asset’s Condition, Risk, Consequence of Deprival or any of the other Priority parameters.
• Assigned Actions; i.e. sorting by priority parameters as above, but then using pre-entered Actions with costs, to determine what can be afforded according to an entered Budget value.
At least one Priority field must be chosen.
The Asset Priority Parameter Fields as shown on the Asset Form - General Information section must have data, to be weighted against each other for importance in the overall Priority Score (i.e. if Condition is weighted four (4) and Risk two (2) then in the overall Priority score for Condition will be twice as important as Risk, based on weight ratio of 4:2).
The Report calculates out the Priority Scores for each Asset, based on the Weight Parameters given, and lists them in highest to lowest Priority Score order, based on and limited to Assets that have uncompleted Actions. Predetermined Action costs are listed and their running total is compared to the entered Budget value, so that Assets in the List prior to the Budget value being reached, print in bold.
The Report should be run on predefined Filters. See Filtering Data for details.
