The Conquest – SMEC interface has been developed to provide a two way interface between the Conquest II Asset Management System and the SMEC Pavement Management System. The functionality of the interface includes:
•Reports showing road segments missing in each system for both pavements and surfaces.
•A process to convert and import condition ratings from SMEC into Conquest
•A process to select and import surface treatments for a given year from SMEC into Conquest.
•Field validations in Conquest to ensure that valid SMEC treatment and material codes are record in Conquest Actions.
•A process validation to load completed surface treatment and pavement reconstruction data into SMEC.
The Conquest – SMEC interface utilises the SMEC API (Version 2) to extract relevant data from the SMEC PMS and to update the relevant information in SMEC.
