The Conquest application accesses all its data via ADO using database details as follows:
• Type
• Server
• Database name
These are provided in an ODBC Data Source Name (DSN) created with a 32 bit ODBC Administrator utility, before installing Conquest, or during the installation with the ODBC dialog, “Add New” button, which opens the ODBC Administrator utility during the Installation process.
To create a DSN with the ODBC Administrator.
• Select the System DSN tab
• Select the driver for SQL Server, choose “SQL Server” not “SQL Native Client”
• Follow the instructions to locate the Conquest II database
