Conquest Asset Types are in a Hierarchy, presented in the Asset Type Explorer, which allows you to see related Asset Types e.g. “Swing” is a sub-Asset of “Play Equipment”, which is a sub-Asset of “Parks Infrastructure”, but despite the relationship, the data and operations for related Asset Types are usually dissimilar, so each Asset Type:
• Defines Asset State Attributes
• Defines Asset User Fields (labels and structure)
• Can set Valuation Attributes
• Can set Security Permissions
• Can hold Standard Templates for:
• Defects
• Actions
• Asset Inspections
• Risk Events
