How To Use A Standard Action To Automate The Response To A Request

Request Responses are Standard Actions with the “Request Response” checkbox ticked, which can be used to create an Action directly from a Request but can still be used directly on an Asset in the normal way.

These Request Response, Standard Actions can be selected from the Action Response pick list, when a Request is being created or edited.

Clicking the button attached to the right of the list, automatically creates the Action and assigns it to the Request.

Actions created on a Request require a further step to be assigned to an Asset by using the Asset Selector button on the right of the Asset Description and then managed as any other Action.
