Relate from a Defect
The “Relate Action” function is accessed from the Defect Menu options to allow a number of Actions to be related to a Defect.
•Reference ID The exact Action Reference ID if known can be input here
•From/To Input a date range to produce a list to be selected from
•Available Filter An existing Action view can be used to select an Action to relate
•Relate from an Action
•The “Relate Defect” function is accessed from the Action Menu options to list all Defects not Completed for the Action’s Asset and descendant Assets.
•Unrelate from an Action
•To do this, open the Related Items tab of the Action, select the defect to be unrelated then click the Unrelate button.
•Note: Defects that are related to Actions are marked by a value ‘1’ in the field ‘Actionid’ in the defect table.
