From the Action Form, Click the Apply Standard Action Task in the Tasks Window, and either:
• Select the desired Standard Action from the List that appears
• Click OK
• Click OK to the message that this will ‘significantly impact the information held for the Action
Or, from any of the following, by right-clicking the Action, then left-clicking the Apply Standard Action menu item:
• An Action in a List
• A Favourite item
• A Recently Viewed item
Things to be aware of:
A checkbox exists within Options, Configuration section, ‘When applying Standard Actions, existing entries in Actions take precedence’, which the Conquest Administrator sets to govern whether applying a Standard Action will overwrite existing Action data. When the Option is ticked you will see some checkboxes, from which to select the fields within the Action that will be overwritten.
A Standard Action can be applied to an Action at any time during its lifecycle, provided that it is not locked, regardless of whether the original Action was created from a Standard Action. See How To Lock Action Data for details.
If an Action was created from a Standard Action, a newly applied Standard Action does not have to match the Standard Action from which that Action was originally created, although it is most effective to select a Standard Action that shares the same Attribute Set.
See Standard Actions and How to Set Up Standard Actions for more details.
