In Windows 10 the Location Services use wireless signals and GPS combined to triangulate the device location. Setting GPS parameters may be difficult to do in Windows 10, without assistance from the device vendor.

Baud Rate |
Controls the speed that the data is sent between the GPS and the PC, and is PC and GPS hardware specific. Generally the highest rate that the port and GPS hardware will support. |
Parity, Data Bits and Stop Bits |
Control how the ASCII characters, sent by the GPS, are encoded. The settings on the PC must match those of the GPS, usually as shown below |
