Asset Hierarchy Considerations

Conquest enforces a rule that ensures that only one Valuation Asset can exist within a branch of the Asset Hierarchy.

For Assets below the Valuation Asset in a branch of the Asset Hierarchy to contribute to the value of the Valuation Asset there are two conditions:

The Valuation Asset has the “Value by Children” checkbox ticked

The contributing Valuation Assets below it in the branch are of a Valuation Asset Type and have the “Valuation Child” checkbox ticked. These “Child” Assets contribute to the Ancestor Valuation Asset by generating Value changes and Transactions from:

      Purchase Actions

      New Works Actions

      Revaluations

      Disposal Actions
