API v2 Security

You will need to edit the Accounts in your Conquest database using the Conquest III - Accounts and Permissions Form, to set the email address on your test Users.

Create a Port Forwarding rule on the Perimeter Firewall, to allow public user access to the API, and create a corresponding Local Firewall, inbound rule on the Local Port specified for the API on the web server. Here’s how our test PC is configured:

•      Open up a Port on the Conquest API Host e.g. 8443, as per the API installation screen captures:
