Note that the Knowledge Base defines treatment costs that relate to conditions on the deterioration curves.

If RSM 2 is installed alongside Conquest, Deterioration Curves are configured in Conquest.  If RSM 2 is a standalone installation, the Deterioration Curves can be added, deleted, and configured in RSM 2.

A deterioration curve specifies how the condition of a surface deteriorates over time.  A sample deterioration curve is shown above.

Each surface Asset Type can have its own deterioration curve.
