The Cost Types form is a simple, two column grid. Any item can be edited and new items can be entered into the bottom-most row.
Cost Types are classified as either of; Cost or Revenue by making a selection from the “Cost / Revenue” Pick-list. “Cost Type” is alphanumeric, limited to 50 characters.
Cost Types can be selected and deleted with the Delete button, provided that they do not have any Expense Streams depending on them.
The Cost Types structure needs to be kept as simple as possible with names that are clearly understood by all departments of the organisation.
